as you already know from previous posts..
{That's if you have read it, if not, why not take a break from this and go read it now? I promise this post wont run away, go go, ill be here :) }
My name is Noelle!
And instead of doing another lifestyle type post today, I thought I'd do a fitness and health post instead.
Starting off with how I try to keep healthy!
As I have stated previously I believe in the whole "80% diet 20% exercise" thing. But hey no one's perfect, i'm definitely NOT.
So the same advice i give to myself that I am going to share with you guys is that you are not going to have a totally BANGING start or even process/lifestyle of health and fitness.
If you are trying to follow a meal plan that you've drawn up on your own planning out your daily diet and calorie intake etc etc..listen to me.
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FOLLOW IT WORD FOR WORD EVERYDAY.
Sometimes random things come up in life, for example, someone may call you up and ask you if you'd like to go out and have a meal?
What are you going to do? Turn it down because you have to follow through with your meal plan??
"HEY sorry buddy i have to eat my quinoa salad with organic soy sauce at precisely 1pm, so i cant hang out ,SORRY" (what is organic soy sauce even?? hahaha)
UM. NO. UNACCEPTABLE.
YOUR LIFE DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOUR DIET.
That is exactly how I used to be until i decided I was getting way to worked up about my diet plan and now know that it is okay to have a small treat each day if i wanted to instead of a "cheat meal" every Sunday.
Since we've already touched on this topic so much, lets start of with..
PART 1: DIET
This particular aspect in my life has been the most worked on and highlighted part of my daily living through the years pretty much ever since i was young?
Not so much when i was younger but more towards the teenage years of my life which is not rarely heard of as it is the period of time where we start to physically mature! (noticed i used physically because maturity is not determined by age but by actions and thoughts) Females start to get more curves and men start to get more..facial hair?? And we begin to become more body conscious! And so of course i began to take care of my image more as i matured.
Lets just briefly go through my "diet process" through the years
13 years old
I was a tomboy and i didn't really give a sh*t about what i ate BUT however i did try to gain muscle and bulk up because i wanted to look muscular and manly.(If you would like to know why then dont be shy! just send me a comment and I'l tell you!)
14 years old
Less of a tomboy now, started realizing that i wanted to look more feminine and began to look more closely at my diet and choosing more healthier "safe" foods but did not focus on it that much.
15 years old
Was pretty girly and started focusing a lot more on diet and exercise as compared to previous years
and..during year end holidays i had lost a considerably large amount of weight and i was 58kg at 170cm tall. Which is pretty slim actually.
However the next year was more of a struggle and my weight just continued to fluctuate as i went through my eating disorder, bouncing back and forth from starving and trying to eat properly again.
Up till recently as I've mentioned in my previous post that I have sorted my disorder out.
(sorry for the long back story.)
So as you can see IT TAKES TIME to find your balance,
I only found my balance recently about a month ago and that was not with ease either.
NOW THIS IS WHAT I TRY TO EAT.

In terms of fruit and vegetable,
I eat a lot of fruits mainly bananas because I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM,
I've recently started blending them for breakfast smoothies with maybe some strawberries, then adding nuts in and eating them as a soft serve or freezing it for about an hour and eating it as an ice cream type thing? (i used to eat a lot of oats but i found that It doesn't do much for me to be honest. So i stick to bananas) I blend 2-4 bananas depending on how much i have at the time or how much i feel like eating and it fills me up pretty good so! yay for banaynays! (haha "banaynays" how funny..right)
For vegetables i try to eat them during lunch and dinner time but I don't eat as much vege as compared to fruits just because..
HEE.
In terms of protein,
I don't eat a lot of meat, maybe sometimes i do because its just there and i feel like eating it so i do?
But I generally don't eat a lot because i don't like how it makes me feel when I digest it and I kinda believe that human bodies aren't meant to digest meat? That's just MY view on things, you don't have to agree with it. I still love fried chicken so. I'm not totally "anti-meat" or anything.
LETS TALK ABOUT CARBSSSSS
so, "Carbs" seem to be a very "taboo" word in a lot of health and fitness beliefs but i feel that it shouldn't have to be.
Naturally I actually have a sweet tooth and I LOVE LOVE LOVE GUMMIES.
Most people would find it hard to believe but I could finish a whole medium/large sized bag in one siting.
Its just amazing artificial colorful bits sent from heaven.
However, on a daily basis I get my carbs mostly from fruits and small amounts of rice and rarely bread.
It depends on the day and my plans for the day so...
YEAH.
{This post seems to be getting very long, Is it because of the spaces i left? I hope you're still engaged at least. Stay strong there buddy, we're almost done :')}
ON TO EXERCISE!
I LIKE TO WALK.I used to run however I wanted to obtain a less muscular and leaner form and so I stopped running all together!
Now, I try to walk as much as I can, For example if I go to orchard road i try to walk back home to commonwealth and for the few readers who aren't from Singapore, the distance is about...5.8km? says google map *thumbs up* :D
Other then walking which is my main form of cardio, I like to dance in my room and I want to try to get into swimming daily or 4 times a week for an hour!
In terms of strength and toning exercises I personally like to google "workout routines tumblr"
And trust me you'll see lots of workout routines (most of them from Tumblr because I like the way its..sequenced?)
For any other exercises
ARMS
LEGS
THIGHS
BUTTCHEEKS ;) .. just google it and it'll be there so!
yay for gooogle!
That's about it for exercise actually.
Oh!one point Id like to add, find an exercise you actually sorta feel is most effective for you? (id rather not say enjoyable cos sometimes we just do it cos we gotta y'know? lets be real here guys,)
Like before I thought that I really liked yoga and pushed away the fact that i saw no improvement in my form and that I actually found it very boring whilst doing it.
SO DON'T PUSH IT AWAY, FIND SOMETHING YOU LIKE TO DO.
As for me, I really like to feel the burn, feel the sweat and know that the moves im doing are challenging me.
Such as planks, those things are just.
killers.
one minute and I think there's an earth quake when actually my body is just vibrating like my phone If my mum doesn't know where I am. NON STOP.
We have finally come to the end of the post, if you have any questions or anything you'd like to know? comment or I have other social media pages you can reach me at..
