YOGA MAKES YOU SWEAT BUCKETS




I actually didn't think I'd ever blog again? But hey! to whoever is actually reading.
This is just a pic from this morning, still in the process of trying to get some good abs! But hey! Back to exercising after WEEKS.
 Due to exams and being lazy Ofcourse. 

 This morning I had the sudden urge to do some yoga, so I went on YouTube and found a thirty minute body toning yoga workout with the idea that it'll be a nice way to stretch out my body and calm my mind whilst getting some toning done as well. 
So I set my yoga mat out, put a full bottle of water out and pressed play. The video started with some simple stretches, I mean nothing I couldn't do yknow? 
And I was starting to think "Hey hey maybe I could get used to doing this yoga stuff, seems pretty cool ,im already five minutes in and I'm not even breaking a sweat! Woo!" 
Yeah, that's what I THOUGHT.
The next 25 minutes we were going through so many different poses I couldn't even keep up with the video! And apparently we were supposed to focus on staying relaxed and controlling our breathing patterns,
An accurate representation of the situation I was in :

Instructor: alright we are going to reach our hands down, go down into *pose*, press your feet against the floor and right foot out into a front lunge whilst inhaling....ah how relaxing just feel your easy breaths whilst in this stretch..
Me: okay okay okay okay...*breathes heavily as sweat rains from my forehead*

 Instructor : inhale! 

Me:*exhales* OH CRAP BETTER BREATHE QUICKLY BEFORE SHE GOES TO THE NEXT MOVE.

Instructor: exhale and change!

Me: *inhales quicky* crap. 

Yup. What a dialogue.
But..all in all yoga is a good exercise that challenges the body and mind :) 
I will definitely do it again, maybe not often but from time to time! 
Whilst trying to achieve my healthy eating simultaneously. 
I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of doing yoga to do it because it not only strengthens but lengthens your body as well!

I CAN'T STOP EATING JUNK FOOD

I AM JUST GOING TO WRITE A SHORT POST RIGHT NOW.SO.
Hi.
:)
I can't begin to even explain on the amount of unhealthy crap I have been eating in the past couple of weeks.
Not working out properly and having a horrible diet has resulted in my body fat percentage increasing  quite Abit.
And honestly, I don't know what to do.
Okay maybe I should set a goal?
They say it takes 21 days to break or make a habit.
So, maybe I'll do a 21 day challenge.
I'll find the discipline somewhere in me, to avoid junk food and eat as proper as I can for the next 21 days, and exercise moderately too.
I'll draw out a time calendar and all that to make it official. HAHAHA.
And after that I'll start posting my progress here and there.
Let's see if I really do improve after 21 days.
Only time will tell.
(Ps: no I'm not only going to be healthy for 21 days, this is just to ease back into that health and fitness lifestyle)

DAILY INTAKE part one

I TOLD YOU I'D BE BACK HAHA.
Hee hee
Hi.
I hope you had a good Monday?
School is boring so I have nothing much to say about my day but!
As promised I am back with my food intake for today :) 
Today wasn't too bad,
I had some yogurt with mixed nuts and raisins after PE for BREAKFAST
OH OH AND AFTER YEARS ( or months I cant remember) OF NOT BUYING ANY FOOD FROM A COFFEE SHOP, I FINALLY BOUGHT ONE BOWL OF NOODLES :D
And I don't even know what it's called honestly.
I was actually trying to tell the shop vendor to give me "crispy noodles" but she didn't understand me and gave me a big bowl of beef noodles instead (-.-')
*the struggle is real*
But hey!  ITS OKAY, I HAD NO COMPLAINTS :)
After that I was a little cheeky and went to get some gummies.... Hee.
And for dinner I had sushi! <3

I'm planning to have some frozen grapes later but as of now I just had two pieces of chocolate truffles just because they are beautiful pieces of delicious, edible, art. YUMMAY IN MY TUMMAY.

As for exercise,I may do a before bed exercise that I find on Google or Tumblr to Rev up my metabolism before sleeping which actually helps to burn more calories as you sleep, so yay for before getting into bed exercises! :}
That's about it! I'm really tired. Happy Monday!

 JUST AN UPDATE ON THIS UPDATE: I had some cake after this and some other snacks too, BUT IN MY DEFENSE ITS MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW.
 Hahaha I'm just joking, ill do better okay...give me time, I have four weeks and this is my first week.LIKE I SAID, SUCCESS WILL COME!

"I'LL START TOMORROW "

Have you Ever continously felt like a failure because you can't stick to your fitness plan or goals?
If you do, then hey. We're in the sad wagon together buddy, need a tissue to wipe all the failure coming out of your eyes?
I'm just kidding.
one thing I always remember when I break my plan to stick to my fitness goals is. NEVER GIVE UP.
I may repetitively say "I'll start tomorrow" practically every single day. But Atleast I don't give up? Right??
It's been a frustrating journey for me, trying to figure out how, what, and when to eat.
My intake has been terrible and I eat the same amount of food that NTUC brings in monthly for restocking ( I'm obviously exaggerating ALOT but my point is, I eat alot okay)
What are some ways that'll help me to be consistent with my healthy eating?
A fitness buddy?
A written out plan for the week?
A blog? (which is currently an ongoing project as you're reading right now)
ANYTHING??
After hours of stalking seemingly perfect people with the perfect body,diet and exercise regime on Instagram ..I always wonder,

HOW IN THE FLYING BUTTCRACKS ARE THESE PEOPLE ABLE TO KEEP SO CONSISTENT AND STAY SO HARD-CORE WITH THEIR HEALTHY EATING AND EXERCISE??

Like are they even human?

Did they go through a brain washing session that reprograms their brains to only think of healthy foods, with a complimentary installation of the " will power of a thousand warriors"???

If so, how and where can I purchase this program? Because I didn't get the memo.

Sigh. But all in all,  I will still continue to strive for success because I am sick and tired of always saying " I'll start tomorrow"

I want to know how a "cheat day" feels like and not have continuos cheat days everyday. ( -.-')

I want to know how it feels like to feel like your body is constantly energized.

I want to know how it feels like, to know that "HEY I CAN ACTUALLY DO THIS " and feel proud of myself.

Success will come. I'm starting on 2015 early.
Are you? 

Ps: I havent watched the victoria's secret fashion show yet :( can someone please tell me where I can find the video online..
Oh and also thanks for actually reading this if you did, you are very much appreciated by me :)

Also. I'm going to start my 4 weeks tomorrow to notice a change in my body as this pic shows,Let's see what happens! :} till next post!

HEALTH AND FITNESS UPDATE?

Hey! To whoever actually cares to read this. And if you do, I am so sorry about not being consistent and not posting anything for so long, BUT HEY I just downloaded the blogger app so now it'll be easier! :) 


I decided that I'll begin posting a food and exercise update everyday with pictures of my meals and stuff like that!
Also I'll be posting an update of how I've been for the past month or so.

HI

Hey there!

I haven't written in a while, I've actually considered just deleting this blog because
one bad thing about me is that i can never really be consistent with anything, i cant remember the last time i was consistent with something.
Its quite sad to know this is a fact.

BUT OKAY THIS IS WHAT I REEEEAAALLY WANTED TO TALK ABOUT IN THIS POST.

I am going to do a "experiment" well more of a change.

yes, this is about diet and fitness.
I want to tone and lean up my body and feel good about myself as well
therefore i was trying to think up of a way to accomplish this!
and i thought of an equation that I am going to apply to my life from tomorrow on

(CLEAN EATING + PORTION CONTROL) + (HIGH CARDIO + 3 TIMES A WEEK STRENGTH TRAINING)

THAT MY FELLOW HUMANS.
Is hopefully the magical formula that will aid in my self confidence.
I will try my best to update this blog with some meal pictures and exercise pictures and all that good stuff...

but most importantly
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THIS WAY OF LIVING.
so this is going to be my own personal mini challenge.

Just so its out there most of my meals are fruit and plant based (mostly not always)
and I am currently trying to get of dairy and meat.
In the process of trying to find calcium and iron replacements which isnt very hard thanks to my good pal GOOGLE.

(I really need to see about getting a blogger app)
AND sorry if i don't post many personally taken pictures..my phone's memory is EXTREMELY annoying and doesn't allow me to take pictures much, at all.

As from the previous post, I mentioned I believed in wholesome eating and now I believe in it not only for ourselves but for the animals and for the whole of society ingesting this crap food that is given to us.
We need to stand up to it and demand fresh wholesome products.
Im not saying you have to believe in it to. But if you want to, lets do this together!
